MAGiC Quarterly Luncheon

You are invited to join us at our next Quarterly Luncheon on Friday, March 13, 2015.

Topic:  Recent Developments Affecting Trusts and Public Benefits for People Living with Disabilities

  • The ABLE Act, enacted by Congress in late 2014 – what is it and how will it help people living with disabilities in Minnesota.
  • What is the current view from the SSI program on giving trust beneficiaries gift cards and paying credit card bills.
  • Public Housing is now counting many trust distributions as income –  this could change what you pay from the trust.

Presenters:  Laurie Hanson, Attorney, Long, Reher & Hanson, P.A.

When: Friday, March 13, 2015

11:15 am - Registration & Networking (optional tours of The Waters)
             12:00 - 1:00 pm - Presentation and Lunch
1:00 pm - Tours of The Waters (optional)

Location:  Hosted by The Waters of Edina

6300 Colonial Way
Edina, MN  55436

FYI - Sometimes GPS/google maps change Way to Court.  If this happens you will be on the wrong side of town.  You can actually see our community from the crosstown/Hwy 62 if you know where to look.  We are a sprawling gray-sided building between the Edina Fire Station and Colonial Church.  Please come to the front entrance and our concierge will buzz you in.  Thank you.
