Minnesota Association for Guardianship & Conservatorship
A nonprofit organization founded in 1989 to explore substitute decision-making for vulnerable individuals.
MAGiC is committed to ensure the appropriate level of quality substitute decision-making is applied consistently. Education and a forum are provided for those interested in guardianship and conservatorship and their less restrictive alternatives.
MAGiC is proud to have a membership in excess of 150 from Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. Members include guardians and conservators, attorneys, social workers, long-term care and housing providers, court personnel, and others interested in ensuring that the appropriate level of quality substitute decision-making is applied consistently.
MAGiC is an affiliate of the National Guardianship Association.
The MAGiC Journal
The Journal of the Minnesota Association for Guardianship and Conservatorship is published four times a year. It has a circulation of 350 people. Each issue has multiple feature articles which focus on a theme in addition to news items, legislative and case law updates, resources, and columns.
