The Minnesota Association for Guardianship & Conservatorship (MAGiC) Events page is your central hub for upcoming opportunities to learn, connect, and engage with guardianship and conservatorship professionals across Minnesota and the surrounding region. MAGiC hosts a variety of events throughout the year — from educational quarterly luncheons and professional networking gatherings to our Annual State Conference — all designed to deepen understanding, build community, and support best practices in substitute decision-making.

  • Annual State Conference 
    A full-day educational conference featuring expert speakers, breakout sessions, and networking designed for guardianship and conservatorship professionals. 

  • MAGiC: The Gathering (Networking Event)
    An annual evening networking event with light appetizers, games, and opportunities to connect with peers in guardianship and conservatorship fields. 

  • Quarterly Luncheons
    Ongoing professional development luncheons focused on timely topics and peer learning (check current calendar for dates and locations).

    Join us for an engaging panel discussion exploring the full range of housing options available for vulnerable adults and people with disabilities.
    Our panel of experts will break down the key differences between various housing settings. Attendees will leave with practical knowledge and increased confidence to support clients in finding housing that best fits their needs.

    After much success, MAGiC is excited to announce our second annual Networking Event, MAGiC: The Gathering.  This is a fantastic networking opportunity for its membership, and individuals and entities who partner with guardians and conservators.

    Please join us in the Collaborative Lounge and Sky Deck at Capella Tower for happy hour, light appetizers, sunset views, and interactive games including a golf simulator, cornhole, bowling, skeet shooting, and shuffleboard.

    Drinks and appetizers are included with the cost of the ticket. Free parking in Capella Tower garage with direct elevator access to the Collaborative Lounge. 

    Cost

    Members - $45 per person

    Non-Members - $60 per person
